Other third-party packages and software required for all installations are as follows:
Perl is a run-time requirement for the servlet configuration file generation. For Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Perl should be available as part of the base distribution. For Windows, you will need to obtain and install Perl 5.8, available at http://www.activestate.com/Products/Download/Download.plex?id=ActivePerl.
The Servlet 2.3 class files are required to build WAF. They are also required to run certain commands such as ccm load. These files are provided by the servlet-version package.
These packages are required for development installs only:
Ant 1.5.0 or later. There are some ZIP corruption issues with the 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 versions of Ant, so do not use those. An Ant RPM package is available through Red Hat Network or from http://www.jpackage.org or from Red Hat Network.
WAF compilation uses several open source libraries from third parties: HTTPUnit, JUnit, and JUnitPerf. These are each available as individual packages.
