这两个服务有什么本质区别吗？

现在的免费corba产品好像都不提供通知服务？ why？

The features of Notification are more than event service,as this:
1.Quality of Service Specification & Administration
2.Typed and Structured Events (Payload)
3.Dynamic Filtering based on Event Type and QoS Parameters
4.Filtering at Source, Channel, Channel Proxy, and Consumer Levels
5.Event Discovery Among Source, Channel, and Client
(from OMG’s Notification Service,by Jon Siegel, Ph.D.)

And the features can exactly fit enterprise application needs.
