ArcGIS is the name of a group of Geographic Information System software product lines produced by ESRI. ArcGIS 8.3 and up includes support of OGC standards.

ArcGIS clients can connect to 1. WMS, 2. WFS and WFS\-T services. WCS is not supported.

Note that ArcMap 9.0 SP2 and above support this. Pre-service-pack 2 will not.

You might want to make this page more generic to cover all of ESRI's products.  Check out this linkon ESRI's site which documents the availability of WMS/WFS interoperability extensions for various products/versions.

For example, ESRI has free interoperability extensions available for their ArcGIS Desktop 8.3 products (ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo) which add support for WMS & WFS.  In contrast, 9.0 SP2 and up now include WMS support out of the box but they've decided to charge $$$ for WFS support .  One step forward, two steps back...
