Extensions
==========

Extensions are modules that add various bits of functionality to GeoServer.  They need to be installed separately from GeoServer.

This section describes the various extensions available to GeoServer.  For information about extensions that add support for additional data formats, such as ArcSDE or SQL Server, see the :ref:`data` section.
