Summary

In this hour, you have installed NT Emacs on Windows NT or Windows 95/98. You have decided whether to use a live filesystem on the CD-ROM or install to your hard drive, and installed accordingly. You should now be able to launch Emacs by clicking on its Start menu icon. You should also have some associations with file types, so that you can launch Emacs by clicking on an associated file.

You have also learned a little (there is more to come) about customizing Emacs and how to customize Emacs differently for different platforms.

You have also learned something very important: where to go to get more information and get help from your fellow NT Emacs users.
