Java and Compiler Requirements

Java runtime

To applications developed using Celtix Enterprise you need JRE 5.0.11 or higher.

Java development

To develop applications using Celtix Enterprise you need JDK 5.0.11 or higher.

It is also recommended that you have Apache Ant 1.6.5 or higher. You can download Apache Ant from http://ant.apache.org/bindownload.cgi.

The demos supplied with Celtix Enterprise are set up to be built and run using Apache Ant.

JavaScript environment

To develop and deploy JavaScript services you need the Rhino JavaScript implementation. You can download Rhino from http://www.mozilla.org/rhino/download.html.
