Restoring with Automatic Tape Loaders 

You can interactively restore using the Recovery Wizard. You can optimize this process by using an automatic tape loader.

Prerequisites

For the retrieval operation to be successful, all the tapes which form part of the backup must be present in the automatic tape loader.

The database instance is in the ADMIN operational state.

Procedure

Use the same backup template as for backing up (Managing the Backup Templates).
