You log on to a database instance. This opens a database session.
● You have called Web SQL Studio.
● The database instance is in the ONLINE operational state.
If the database instance is not in the ONLINE operational state, use the Database Manager to start the database instance. See:

1. Enter the following data.

The database system converts all letters to uppercase. To enter lowercase letters and special characters, enclose your entry in quotation marks. See Concepts of the Database System, Conventions for User Names and Passwords |
2. Optional: To change the properties of the database session, choose Extended. Change the properties you wish to change.

3. Choose Logon.
