OLAT 3.x is not compatible with OLAT 2.x. Install OLAT 3.0 as a new installation as described in chapter 2. To migrate your data from your existing OLAT 2.x installation you need to install the newest 2.x release and then follow the migration instruction described in the 2.x to 3.0 migration guide.
