File_Passwd_Authbasic::verifyPasswd() -- Verify password

Synopsis

mixed File_Passwd_Authbasic::verifyPasswd (string $user, string $pass)

Description

Verify the password of a certain user.

Parameter

string $user

the user whose password should be verified

string $pass

the plaintext password to verify

Return value

Returns TRUE if passwords equal, FALSE if they don't, or PEAR_Error on failure.
