Net_NNTP_Client::selectGroup()

Net_NNTP_Client::selectGroup() -- select a newsgroup

Synopsis

require_once 'Net/NNTP/Client.php';

array Net_NNTP_Client::selectGroup (string $newsgroup)

Description

Selects a specific newsgroup on the NNTP-server

Parameter

Return value

array - If the newsgroup exists, an array is returned:

'first'The first article number in the group
'last'The last article number in the group
'group'Groupname
otherwise a PEAR_Error is returned on fail.

This function can not be called statically.
