MDB_Common::getTextValue() – quotes a string

Synopsis

require_once 'MDB.php';

string MDB::getTextValue ( string $string )

Description

Quotes a string database-dependent, so it can be safely used in a query

Parameter

string $string

the input string to quote

Return value

string - the quoted string.

Note

This function can not be called statically.
