DEPENDS.AUTO_PERSIST

This variable lists variables that are automatically promoted from dependencies. Note that it must be set in the project exporting the dependencies, not the project importing them.

This is mostly used by extensions so that a project doing QTOPIA*=phone will also get the QTOPIA*=comm that libqtopiaphone sets.
