Red Hat Database 2.0 has been verified on Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 2.1 and Red Hat Linux 7.3. The Red Hat Database installer will install Red Hat Database 2.0 only on those distributions of Linux.
Red Hat recommends that you use the default options when installing Red Hat Linux software, including the partitioning scheme and default package selections. Do not install the SQL server packages when installing Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 2.1 or Red Hat Linux 7.3. That is, no PostgreSQL related RPMs should be installed as a part of the Red Hat Linux installation process.
It is also recommended that you perform an up2date on your Linux system prior to installing Red Hat Database 2.0.
