There are three servlet containers that Red Hat WAF has been tested with. Other servlet containers should work, as WAF only uses standard Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2 APIs; however, only these three are tested:
Tomcat 4.0.6 or later is required to prevent security exception errors.
Resin 2.1.x is required. Do not use Resin 2.0.x or 3.0.x. Resin is supported under Linux and Microsoft Windows.
WebSphere is known to work with WAF, but servlet container configuration and server start/stop scripts are not provided.
