USB Management Overview
The USB Management Collection contains the USB Manager component.
Using USB Management
You use the USB Management component for the following:
To provide functionality for monitoring, controlling and configuring USB services on a Symbian device using the USB Manager library
To discover information about the USB personalities currently available on the Symbian platform phone
To load a personality
To monitor the phone's status as a USB peripheral device
To start USB services
To check whether USB services are running
To enable host-driver loading
To monitor USB peripheral attachment and detachment
To manage the phone's USB role
To retrieve a peripheral device's string descriptors
To stop USB services.
