Question: I have a UIQ application which works as expected in 'flip open' mode on the Sony Ericsson Pxxx series of phones, but I would
also like to provide a UI for 'flip closed' mode. How can I do this?
Answer: The implementation details for this are documented in the UIQ SDK available from the Symbian Developer Network. However, a
working 'real world' example is often useful too. For this, have a look at http://www.yipton.demon.co.uk/ where Symbian OS Team member Peter van Sebille has posted some very useful open source projects which illustrate how to solve
this problem. Please note that Symbian takes no responsibility for external links or their content, and merely includes this
here as a potentially useful source of information.
