Using the indexes

This page describes the index pages that are provided for the Symbian Developer Library. Click on Index in the title bar of any page to go the Index section.

The Full Document Tree pages shows the structure of the complete document set and locates every document within it. Use this index to identify the contents of complete topics at a glance and to navigate straight to documents of interest, and generally to find your way around the documentation structure.

The Figures index supplements this with a list of the diagrams and screenshots.

There are eight separate alphabetical indexes that provide direct navigation to the C++ API items described in the reference documentation. These are organised as follows:

• Flat index lists all types in the OS

• Class hierarchy shows the inheritance hierarchy for classes

• Member functions

• Enumerations list all enumerations, whether defined inside or outside class scope

• Constants and flags lists enumerated values

• Non-member functions

• Typedefs

• Preprocessor macros
