Question:
JNI code making use of the NewStringUTF(char*) JNI method under the WINS Rel emulator crashes with a Kern-Exec 3. This doesn't appear to affect the wins deb emulator or real devices. what can i do about this?

Answer:
This is a known defect of the WINS Rel emulator. There is no known work around so you are encouraged to use the WINS Deb emulator for all JNI development. The defect does not affect Version 6 software.
