What video formats does the Mobile Media API (JSR 135) implementation on the Nokia 3650 support?

Answer:
Nokia have implemented the Mobile Media API (JSR 135) on the Series 60 based Nokia 3650 phone. The implementation supports playing video files in the following formats

video/3gpp file extension .3gp
video/vnd.nokia.interleaved-multimedia file extension .nim

3GPP is based on MPEG-4 format and is used by the MMS application. The NIM format is Nokia's proprietary format. A tool (the Nokia Multimedia Converter) is available from Forum Nokia (www.forum.nokia.com) to convert files to these formats.
