Question:
The MIDP 2.0 specification provides extended connectivity support via the GCF. What connection protocols does Symbian provide implementations for?

Answer:
Implementations are provided for the following:

Http
Https
Socket
Secure socket
Server socket
Datagram (UDP)
SMS (via the Wireless Messaging API).


Serial Port connectivity via the CommConnection interface is not currently implemented.
