Question:
MIDP 2.0 introduces a new security model supporting the installation of signed MIDlet suites which are bound to a trusted protection domain. Is the trusted protection domain supported on Symbian OS, MIDP 2.0 enabled phones?

Answer:
Yes, except those running early firmware.

The installation of signed MIDlet suites is supported on the Sony Ericsson P900/908 providing it is running firmware versions R2*** or later. Likewise it is supported on the Nokia 6600 running firmware version 4.09.1 or later.
