The Picture Transfer API handles transferring pictures between digital cameras and Symbian OS phones. The API is designed to facilitate sessions through the Symbian OS comms server using the IrCOMM protocol module.
The Picture Transfer API consists of two parts:
methods used to manipulate the Unified Picture Format (UPF).
methods for establishing and transferring a picture between a Symbian OS phone and a digital camera.
The CTranpSession class encapsulates the behaviour
for receiving a picture from a peer device. Currently the API supports the
receiving of pictures.
