Virtual Private Networks

There are three types of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) that are currently supported by NetworkManager (NM). It is important to know which type of VPN network you are attempting to connect to.

  1. Begin by installing network-manager-openvpn, network-manager-pptp and/or network-manager-vpnc.

  2. Left click the NetworkManager icon and click Configure VPN... from the VPN Connections option.

  3. Click Add.
