1. About

ZenEnterpriseReports adds new reports to the standard reports, and can be found in the new organizer Enterprise Reports under the Reports section.

Table 27.1. Enterprise Reports

NameDescription

95th Percentile

Network interface utilization report that also reports on average utilization as well as 95th percentile utilization. 95th percentile is a widely used mathematical calculation to evaluate the regular and sustained utilization of a network connection. The 95th percentile method more closely reflects the needed capacity of the link in question than tracking by other methods such as mean or maximum rate. This report is useful for both network capacity planning as well as billing for either average or 95th percentile bandwidth utilization. .

Maintenance Windows

Shows all maintenance windows within the Zenoss instance.

Organizer Availability

Gives you the availability percentage of all network organizers in the system. This report can be filtered by Organizer, Event Class, Component and Date.

Systems Availability

Shows you systems availability in time and percentage. Can be filtered by date.

Interface Volume

Network interface volume. Volume is defined as the total number of bytes transferred during the reporting period. This report would be used if you bill based on total bandwidth consumption.

Alert Rule Email Addresses

A report that displays all alert rules and the e-mail addresses to which alerts are sent.

Defined Thresholds

Reports on all thresholds defined in the system. A link is provided to the target of each threshold. The target can be either an entire device class, an individual device, or individual component. This report is useful for administering the Zenoss system. It can be used to quickly identify what threshold events can occur within the system, and the severity of threshold events.

Event Time to Resolution

A per-user report of total time taken to either acknowledge or clear events. The results are further broken down by the event's severity. This can be used to track response time SLAs in a NOC type environment.

User Event Activity

This is a less granular report than Event Time to Resolution. It only reports on the total number of events acknowledged and cleared on a per-user basis during the reporting period. This can also be used in NOC type environments for assisting in staffing requirements.

User's Group Membership

A single report that shows all users and the groups to which they belong.
