Instead, you should use the ACE_Recursive_Thread_Mutex, ACE_Thread_Mutex, ACE_Thread_Semaphore, etc., that are defined in $ACE_ROOT/ace/Synch.h or the ACE_Token that's defined in $ACE_ROOT/ace/Token.h.
