Fuse ESB uses JMX for its
underlying management features. You can configure the properties used by this service in the
org.apache.karaf.management.cfg file.
Two of the most commonly changed parts of the Fuse ESB runtime configuration are the RMI port and the JMX URL. You can set these using the following properties:
- rmiRegistryPort
The default value for the RMI registry port is 1099.
- serviceUrl
The default URL used by JMX is
service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://localhost:1099/karaf-root.
You can change the username and password used to connect to the JMX server by configuring JAAS security, as described in Configuring JAAS Security.
