1. Introduction

These release notes are for the incremental release 4.0.1. It includes a summary of changes since 4.0.0, bug fixes since 4.0.0 and any known problems that still exist at the time of the 4.0.1 release. 2. Changes Summary

The following change has occurred for Community Authorization Service (CAS):

  • CAS service was tested and necessary changes was made (to register with Index service) to ensure it deploys and runs with Apache Tomcat.

3. Bug Fixes

The following bugs were fixed for CAS:

  • Bug 3224: CAS expects objects with exact name matchCAS expects objects with exact name match to be enrolled prior to assertion generation
  • Bug 3243: Issue with revoking rights using cas-rights-admin
  • Bug 3295: Exception when clients are invoked with no parameters

4. Known Problems

The following problem is known to exist for CAS at the time of the 4.0.1 release:

  • Bug 3371: cas-group-admin delete fails if grant all rights is given to the same group that was created.
