The XML Form System

XForms is an industry standard designed to replace HTML form processing. It is intended to be a general purpose technology that can be used within a browser or in a server process. XForms is best suited for client-side browser based processing, however browser support is not complete. NetKernel offers server-side XForms processing in an optional (downloadable) module based on the Chiba open-source technology.

The XForm service is used to prepare, execute, update and style an XForm document.

active:XForm+xform@{xform-definition}
            +param@{form-data}
            +session@{session-information}

The XForm service acts as the controller in a Model-View-Controller pattern. Please refer to the XForm guide [requires module install] for more information.
