This series of tables lists commands that perform the same tasks as the Solaris management tools. For information on diskless client support, see Chapter 7, Managing Diskless Clients (Tasks).
This table describes the commands that provide the same functionality
as the Solaris management tools. You must be superuser or assume an equivalent
role to use these commands. Some of these commands are for the local system
only. Others commands operate in a name service environment. See the appropriate
man page and refer to the
D
option.
