Question: Can MGS Games be Symbian Signed? Can MGS Games pass all the SymbianSigned tests?
Answer: Can an MGS Game File be Symbian Signed? Yes. MGS Games run on Noumena Innovation's MGS Games engine which is itself a Symbian OS application. While MGS games are not Symbian OS applications, they can be packaged
in a SIS file, and as such may be SymbianSigned.
MGS Games contain DLLs, and are therefore treated as active content (rather than passive content, see FAQ 1238).
Can MGS Games pass all the SymbianSigned tests? Yes, although not all tests are applicable. MGS Games run within the MGS environment and cannot therefore be tested as though they were Symbian OS applications. Therefore
some of the tests are treated as exceptions; for example MEM-01.
