Resource Struct ID

ID

Description

Resource struct that specifies criteria for bearers to use to identify BIO messages as belonging to a particular BIO message type.

Bearers that receive messages on different ports, such as WAP and SMS, can identify BIO message types by the port on which they arrive. Other bearers can identify BIO message types by matching a relevant text string (e.g. representing the MIME type).

WORD type=EUnknown;

Identifies the bearer that should use this resource to match messages.

This is an ID_TYPE value.

LONG confidence=EPossible;

Confidence level.

This allows for the possibility that a message can be handled by two (or more) BIO message types, but that one BIO message type is preferred. In the case where confidence levels for two (or more) BIO message types are the same, the BIF with the most recent creation date is used.

This is an ID_CONFIDENCE value.

LONG character_set=KCharSetDefault;

Expected receiving character set of messages.

LTEXT text(KMaxIDText)="";

Text field that can be used to match the message to this BIO type.

WORD port=0;

Receiving port number that can be used to match the message to this BIO type.

WORD general_id_data=0x0000;

This is available for 3rd party use for BIO message type identity specific data.
