An emulator is a software application that enables the computer to emulate a hardware. The emulator does not attempt to precisely model the state of device being emulated, but only attempts to reproduce its behaviour.
This section explains the functioning of the emulator built for development with the Metrowerks CodeWarrior for Symbian OS tools. Furthermore, it elaborates on configuring the emulator to suit the user needs and to execute the emulator from the command prompt.
