Spy crashes with KERN-EXEC 0 if run while Java is active

Answer:
This is an intrinsic limitation of Spy. It was written in a highly system-specific way to "spy" on pre-ER5 system configurations and is broken by changes made by introducing Java in ER5. Even if this were fixed, the fragility of Spy implies that future changes to EPOC will likely break it again. For these reasons, Spy is not and never has been a formally supported release. It is included with SDKs on an as-is basis.
