Question:
I am trying to develop a Multimedia application for the Motorola A1000 and am finding that none of the standard Media Server APIs seem to be working correctly. I have tried both the clip and the stream utilities but both are not working correctly. Why is this?

Answer:
Motorola have elected not to supply any plugins for the Media Server APIs, and supply proprietary APIs for the functionality they support.

In order to play or record audio you will need to use the proprietary Motorola APIs provided in your SDK for this purpose. Please refer to Motorola for more information.
