Question:
Why do I get "Enter Organization Unit" error when transitioning from Step 3 to 4 in DevCertRequest using an ACS Publisher
ID?
Why do I get "Error when parsing ACS Pub ID Distinguished Name" when using DevCertRequest?
Answer:
DevCertRequest v1.5 is now available on the portal. Please upgrade to v1.4 which has fixes for the above two (and other minor) issues.
DevCertRequest requires all certificate information to be present in Step 3 before proceeding to Step 4. This also applies
to the preloaded ACS Publisher ID information in Step 3. If the ACS Publisher ID is missing any of the required information,
DevCertRequest will not allow you to move to subsequent steps.
When applying for an ACS Publisher ID from the www.verisign.com portal, care should be taken when supplying the certificate information in Step 2 of the ACS Publisher ID request workflow.
Although the portal states that all the fields are mandatory, you can still request an ACS Publisher ID without filling one
or more certificate information field. Ensure that you supply the information for all the fields as stated on the Verisign
portal.
