Files for presenting and running MIDlets

Users expect to be able run MIDlets in the same way as other, native, applications. For this purpose several application files are required, which are generated automatically during the MIDlet installation process, such that each MIDlet within the MIDlet suite appears as a standard runnable Symbian OS application.

The following application files are created for each MIDlet:

• \Private\10003a3f\import\apps\NonNative\Resource\<MIDlet UID in hex>_loc.rsc

• \Private\10003a3f\import\apps\NonNative\Resource\<MIDlet UID in hex>_reg.rsc

• \Private\10003a3f\import\apps\NonNative\Resource\ICON<MIDlet index number + MIDlet UID in decimal>.mbm
