20.9. Messaging

EnterpriseDB DBA Management Server gives user the option of creating JMS message destinations. The messages published on the JMS destination will be available to all subscribers. You can create message destinations which could either be type queue or topic. The message destinations created using this interface will be available to the subscribers recurrently.

To create a new JMS destination, select the JMS Destinations sub-menu option present under the Messaging menu option. This will open the following report:

In the name text field provide the JMS Destination name. Select the Topic or Queue radio button to create the destination as topic or queue. Click on the Create button, the destination will be deployed and it will be visible on the center of the report.

You can create multiple message destinations. They will all be visible on the centre of the report under the Deployed Destinations heading.

To delete a destination, simply click on Delete next to the destination type. The destination will be removed.
