This document describes the standard HTTP configuration when running an out-of-the-box system. For more in-depth information see the HTTP Transport Guide. The NetKernel HTTP transport implementation uses the Jetty codebase.

By default two HTTP transports are started:

  1. Backend used to host the System Admin Tools on port 1060. This is started by the module urn:org:ten60:netkernel:fulcrum:backend.
  2. Frontend used for the deployment of user applications on port 8080. This is started by the module urn:org:ten60:netkernel:fulcrum:frontend.

These modules each define a configuration file located at ffcpl:/etc/TransportJettyConfig.xml. This file specifies the ports and Jetty specific configuration parameters.
