Address Space

NetKernel supports multiple, possibly related, address spaces.

NetKernel identifies and locates resources with an address within an address space. NetKernel is not limited to a single address space. In fact, NetKernel can support an unlimited number and establish relationship between them. With related address spaces, NetKernel will search for a resource first in the local address space and then in related address spaces. This is similar to using the PATH in Unix.

The ability to define and relate multiple address spaces enables several architectural patterns. These will be explored later.
