NetKernel Concepts

NetKernel provides a unified and elegant abstraction that focuses on resources. The concepts supporting this abstraction borrow from the principles of Unix and the World Wide Web however, the fusion is entirely new, clean, self-consistent and most importantly, simple.

Some of the concepts comprising NetKernel's abstraction may seem familiar and some may seem new. As you learn each concept and see how it relates to and leverages the other concepts, a clear picture of the power and simplicity of NetKernel will emerge. The sum of these concepts have interesting and important consequences. These are explored at the end of this section.
