Acknowledging Events is a way to let the system know that someone has seen the event and is either in progress fixing it or has fixed it or is saying the problem is under control. The acknowledged status for the event is displayed on the Dashboard.
To acknowledge an event:

Navigate to the event console.

Select the event you want to acknowledge from the Event Console by clicking the checkbox at the left of the event.

Open the Events page menu and select the Acknowledge Events option.
Note the change in color (from deep red red to a pale red/pink) for the event you Acknowledged.

Return to the dashboard and note the name that appears in the “Acked By” column for the event (near the top right of the screen).
