This page attempts to explain JBI quickly for developers who are experienced in using the Java Messaging Service. In things like JMS, messages are routed to a destination (a topic or queue) and then messages are consumed from those destinations. The routing in JBI is quite different rather than being a single Destination, in JBI there is a service name, an interface name and operation and possibly a ServiceEndpoint reference. This leads to a more loosely coupled mechanism. |
