What Is a Sun Online Account?

A Sun Online Account is a global Sun account that enables you to access many Sun web applications and portals. You can move between sites and portals in a single browser session without having to log in multiple times.

Note

If you can access Sun online services, such as the SunSolve web site or the Sun Online Support Center, you already have a Sun Online Account. You do not need to create a new account.

To create a Sun Online Account, your system must be connected to the Internet. The information that you specify is saved locally and sent to Sun. Use English characters for the information you supply.

You can create a Sun Online Account from most Sun applications and web sites, including the Update Manager application and the Sun Update Connection web application.
