Question:
I've developed and tested my application on the Nokia 6600. What other devices do I need to test on before submitting it to Symbian Signed?

Answer:
The answer depends on what level of compatibility you have given the application in the PKG file (see FAQ-1045, FAQ-1114).

If you have specified that the application is only compatible with a particular product (e.g. by using the Product ID for the Nokia 6600), then you only need to test on that product.

If you have specified that the application is compatible with a range of devices in a platform (e.g. using the platform ID for Series 60 v1.2) , then you should test on as many devices on that platform as possible.

Note that, while Symbian Signed only mandates testing on the single platform you nominate when you submit the application, user perception of the application is based on the application's performance on their device!
