Module: Message Center

Allows registered users to send messages to each other.


Message Center module

By default, the Message Center module can be accessed by clicking on the current user's display name at the top right of most pages.

Module Configuration

The Message Center module does not have custom settings; however, the correct permissions settings must be set to ensure that the messages are visible only to the intended targets.


Message Center module settings > Permissions

In the Permissions tab,
  1. Uncheck Inherit View Permissions from Page.
  2. Check the View Module box for Registered Users or for whichever group you wish to restrict the module access.
