If you want to experiment with changes to a running route context, you can make the edits directly from the Fuse perspective. Fuse IDE will open the context in the visual route editor. When you save the changes, they take effect immediately.
To edit a running route:
Select the context containing the route(s) to edit from the JMX Explorer tree.
Select from the context menu.
The context, containing all of the routes it contains, will open in the Fuse IDE visual route editor.
Edit the route(s) as described in Part I.
When you are finished making changes, save the edited route.
The changes to the route will take effect immediately.
