The Fuse IDE canvas can contain one or more routes. A route
is delineated by a box whose left edge is red and a label displaying
the route's ID. Each route on the canvas maps to a
route
element in the generated
camelContext
element.

To add a new route to the canvas:
Move the pointer to a part of the canvas that is outside of any existing routes.
Open the context menu.
Select
| .A new route box will appear on the canvas and the property editor will show the properties for the new route.
Enter an ID for the new route in the property editor's ID field.
The route box will update to display the new name.
Enter a description of the route in the property editor's Description field.
