Week of 3 March 2016¶

The following information summarizes what is new in the edX platform this week.

The edX engineering wiki Release Pages provide detailed information about every change made to the edx-platform GitHub repository. If you are interested in additional information about every change in a release, create a user account for the wiki and review the dated release pages.

EdX Studio ¶

In self-paced courses, when course teams attempted to edit subsection configurations, the configuration settings did not include grading options. This issue is resolved. (ECOM-3760)

EdX LMS ¶

In courses that use teams, links to some topic pages were broken due to the formatting of the topic URL. This issue is now resolved, and links to all team topics function correctly. (TNL-4136).
In some browsers, screen readers could not retrieve the tooltip text for the course sequence navigation. This issue is resolved. (AC-327)

EdX Documentation ¶

A note has been added to alert course teams to a best practice for using open response (ORA) assignments. Each course unit must contain only one ORA assignment. Multiple ORA assignments in a unit cause errors when learners submit peer assessments.
